Doctor Brynn

Brynn took a big interest in a book that Ava checked out from the library on the digestive system. :)
Aunt Courtney (a science teacher) brought over the human body for the girls to play with.

Christmas 2013

I have been off of work since the 20th of December and find myself sad as the vacation time with my babies comes to a close.  We had a wonderful Christmas!  We spent the weekend before Christmas with the Hendricksons and then the Mungovans.  Then on Christmas Eve we attended Church and had our neighbors over for dessert and gifts.  On Christmas day we enjoyed the morning together and our traditional Christmas Breakfast and then it was off to my moms for lunch and then my cousins for Dinner.   We went to see the new Disney movie Frozen recently and we all loved it.  It was about two sister princesses and the love they have for each other, so the theme of gifts from Santa this year was frozen.  Ava got Elsa the older sister stuff and Brynn got Anna the younger sister stuff.  They loved it :)  We have spent a lot of time in our dress up outfits singing the songs from the movie.

The girls have been sleeping until 11 am every day and even until noon on New Years day!!  Steve and I have been spending all of our evenings catching up on shows on Netflix like Homeland and The Killing.  I have been in cleaning and organization mode and even redid the playroom.  I love it!

Tuesday is back to the routine for us.  It will be hard for all of us to get back into the groove, but soon it'll be March and we'll be off for our spring break vacation in Destin!

Here are some shots of our wonderful Christmas!

Sister love

The girls are super lovey and sweet.  In this video Brynn is happy that her stocking is the ballerina stocking.  Watch it until the end when they get super sweet :)

Speaking of sister love, we went and saw the new Disney movie Frozen.  The girls loved it.  It was all about two sister princesses and the love and bond between them.

Christmas fun

Fun times at Santa's Wonderland

The neighborhood crew- so sad that it's going to be missing Emma and Will next year :(

Family photo op at Santa's wonderland- Wish I had Aunt Kristin's camera!

Henry the Elf

Henry has been up to his old tricks again.  I haven't taken pictures of everything but here are a few.  He arrived with an elf nightlight.

After a few days of sprinkles, candy canes sprouted :)

Christmas time is here!

Carrying on our usual tradition, we decorated the house the morning after Thanksgiving.  Henry the elf made his first appearance of the season and then that evening we went with some friends to Santa's Wonderland and Santa's Town.  I love love love Christmas so I always go all out with it.

This year we started a new tradition.  The girls each have their very own trees in their rooms.  They get to decorate it and turn it on every night.  On Christmas morning, Santa will leave a new ornament on their tree and one special gift under their own tree.

This year we moved the furniture to get the tree in the center of the room instead of by the back door.  I always hated that location!
