The other night Ava told us that the timer in her head tells her to be mean to Brynn. I said where is your timer and she pointed to the middle of her forehead. She says the timer is mean. So whenever she's being ugly to her sister she points to her forehead and then to Brynn. The other day she told me that she threw the timer away because it was mean.
hmmmm not sure whether to laugh or be seriously freaked out!

Brynn's 1st Birthday Party
We had Brynn's 1st birthday party at the park in our neighborhood. Other than the wind the weather was great and it was a big success. All of the kids had a blast. Brynny plowed into her cake once we gave her a fork. Unfortunately she vomited up a bunch of icing in her crib that night, uh oh!

Avaisms
Mommy my head hurts. It hurts because it's mouth doesn't have a juice box in it.
Singing loudly at dinner and Steve asks her to quiet down. She says "but daddy my mouth still has a lot more songs in it"
At bedtime, "Mommy Ava is too big to wear diapers, I'm just gonna wear my panties tonight. I promise I won't tee tee in the bed." And she didn't!!! Going on two weeks with no diapers at night!!
When people come up to talk to us, she points to Brynn and says "that's my baby, her calls Brynn and she came out of my mommy's tummy"
In the car and Brynn was screaming.."That's enough Brynny! You do that again and you're gonna get a spanking!"
When she's being naughty and gets put in time out she comes out pouting and says "Ava's fussy cuz I didn't get a good nap today" In fact anytime she misbehaves she tells us it's because she didn't get enough of a nap.
Her Favorites:
One of her favorite things to do is lay out every single doll and stuffed animal she owns and cover it with a blanket. Anytime I go upstairs it's like a field of baby corpse landmines. Baby's covered in every cloth item she can find from wash rags to baby wipes.
She's also quite fond of a rubber Lizard that we think she may have shoplifted from kroger (we have no idea where this thing came from). She takes it to school, she buckles it into the carseat with her, it naps with her at school and he even has his own pillow and is covered up with a blanket at night in bed next to her. It is with her so much that on Monday we showed up to school without it and her teachers asked her where her Lizard was.

Happy First Birthday Brynn!!
at 1 year old Brynn can:
- say diaper, Ava, bottle, dog, mama and dada
- feed herself with a fork
- eats everything under the sun
- understands how to put on shoes, socks and pants
- tries to comb her hair and put bows and headbands on
- helps me comb Ava's hair
- She goes right down every night in her crib with a smile on her face

She loves food!
Brynn loves food! She eats anything and everything you give her. She can't stand for someone to have food and not share it with her. If Ava is eating at the table, Brynn walks up to her and tries to take her food out of her hand or will squeal until Ava shares. Now she's started pulling things off the table and eating it. We have to watch her just as closely as we have to watch the dogs now. They do the same thing!
